Shopping Instructions for Groovy Juice
Types of Payment
I accept credit and debit cards through PAYPAL, concealed U.S. cash, money orders and personal checks.
To pay with a credit card, you must have an account with Paypal, a secure third party payment system owned by Ebay auctions. Register for Paypal at https://www.paypal.com
Personal checks are held to clear for five business days however cash, money order and paypal paid orders are mailed the same day during the Halloween and Christmas rush periods. If you need an item quickly, please choose a quicker payment method and let me know you are on a deadline. We will be happy to accomodate you.

If you are outside of the USA and want to order, we accept international money orders payable in US funds and Paypal. We ship to just about anywhere in the world, just ask.
Shipping Information:
During the Halloween season items are mailed daily and rush shipping is always available if you e-mail me first for the proper shipping total. The shopping cart defaults to US Priority Mail shipping at this time, simply state your preferred shipping method in the notes section of the order form and your request for rush shipping through the US Postal Service will be honored. I also ship FED EX at your expense through your exising account upon request. Please e-mail lanajean@groovyjuice.com or try calling 650-344-6977. Calls are returned ASAP although I might not always be at the telephone. Leaving a detailed message always helps speed up your order.
Insurance is optional, but recommended, as we cannot be responsible for the value of lost packages purchased without insurance.
All clothing orders to US customers are mailed by the US Postal Service 2-3 day US priority mail for a flat rate of $7 UNLESS rush or special shipping is requested. Please let us know if you have a rush order in the notes section, we are happy to accomodate!! Sewing pattern orders with only patterns are mailed first class mail unless otherwise requested.

If you buy more than two items at one time and send it to the same address, shipping costs can be combined to save money. Just let me know. If you do not say anything, you will be charged full shipping rate since my cart defaults to this setting.
Groovy Juice Purchase and Return Policy:
All clothing and sewing items are original one-of-a-kind originals from the 1960s and 1970s, unless otherwise noted. Clothing is pre-owned, collectible, and sold as described. Please read descriptions for details and e-mail before ordering if you have additional questions about size, condition, etc.
Exact measurements are given in inches, and in some cases, centimeters. This is because vintage clothing is often missing tags, or the sizing standards have changed over the years. Please feel free to call or e-mail your sizing concerns before placing an order at lanajean@groovyjuice.com or 650-344-6977 in San Mateo, CA, which is Pacific Standard Time. Please leave a phone message detailing the item you are interested in with your return phone number if I cannot take your call. All calls are returned ASAP, e-mails are returned a little faster.
Clothing items may be returned within 48 hours of receipt ONLY if the item does not fit. You will pay return postage and receive a refund for the amount of the item, minus the vintage industry standard restocking fee of 10 percent of the item's value. Sewing patterns, fabrics and collectible items are not returnable.
If you pay using Paypal and need to return an item, your money will be returned to your Paypal account, not your credit card. If you paid using a personal check and require a refund, you will be send a personal check in return. Concealed cash gets refunded as a personal check.
If there is a problem with your cut sewing pattern order, just send an e-mail when your order arrives and I will work with you to replace or complete the pattern.
IMPORTANT- Print a copy of the item you are ordering for your own records, as this description will disappear from the site after placing an order, and you will need this in the event that you make a return.
